Before you write

If you're reporting a bug, these details help us fix it faster:

iOS version and device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.4)
FameSim version (Settings tab inside the app)
What you were doing when it happened
A screenshot or screen recording, if possible

Common questions

Camera or microphone isn't working

Open iOS Settings → FameSim and make sure Camera and Microphone permissions are enabled. If they're already on, toggle them off and back on, then relaunch the app.

AI comments stopped appearing

Contextual comments require a short call to our AI relay. Check your internet connection. If you're on a very restrictive network, try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular. You can also tap Stream setup again to force a reconnect.

I upgraded to Pro but features are locked

Tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen or in Settings → Subscription. The app will re-check your Apple receipt. If it still doesn't unlock within a minute, email us the Apple ID region you purchased from and we'll sort it out.

How do I cancel FameSim Pro?

Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, tap FameSim, and cancel. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I export my data?

Settings → Privacy & Data → Export my data. FameSim writes a JSON file containing your profile, presets, purchases, block list, and recording metadata. You can share it via Mail, Messages, iCloud Drive, or save it locally.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete Account & Data. This immediately wipes your profile, presets, recordings, reports, keychain credentials, and local caches from your device. If you signed in with Apple, you can also revoke FameSim from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID.

I saw an inappropriate AI comment

Long-press the comment and tap Report. You can also Block the AI username from future appearances. Both actions update the on-device safety model. We review report trends and push updated filters with each release.

I need crisis support

FameSim is a simulator. The AI fans are not real and can't help in a crisis. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a real human:
